There are 14 cottages altogether, and rooms in the main building. The cottages accommodate four to ten people. All in all, there are 100 beds available at Matkailumaja Heikkala.

Garden and Yard

There is a Lappish Hut in our garden which can freely be used for evening gatherings. In addition to this, there is a Service Building where we provide a room for waxing skis. We require an advance booking for the gym and sauna.

Central Location

Lake Talvijärvi lift is a handy link to all the slopes in Ruka Holiday Resort. The youngest members of the family can move around the Ruka area by themselves, no chauffeuring required. Ski Bus is in service until late in the evening, so it is easy to take part in the evening entertainment.

New at Heikkala

All our larger cottages (numbers 7-15) have been fitted with a broadband Internet connection and communal aerials. Air source heat pumps were installed in the cottages for 8 or 10 people to ensure a smooth and comfortable warmth at all times!
